Paper input jam

• Does a paper input jam occur when the power supply is turned on?
• Yes
• Yes Remove the jammed paper.
• No
• No Replace paper sensor E (manual feed or paper).
• Yes
• No Does a paper input jam occur during paper loading?
• Yes
• Yes Is paper sensor E (manual feed) operating normally?
• Yes Check the gear block or replace high-voltage power supply board.
• No
• Yes Is paper sensor E (paper) operating normally?
• Yes Replace high-voltage power supply board.
• No
• No Is the hopping roller rotating?
• Yes
• No Replace magnet H.
• Yes
• No Replace the main control board.
• No
• No Are the CN7 connectors of the pulse motor (main) and main control board connected?
• No
Measure the resistance of the pulse motor (main). Is the resistance normal (about 3.8 Ω)?
• Yes
• No
• Yes Replace the main control board.
Is the jammed paper on paper sensor E?
Is paper sensor E (manual feed/paper) operating normally?
Replace the high-voltage power supply board.
Is the paper already fed to paper sensor E (manual feed)?
• No Replace paper sensor E (manual feed).
Is the paper already fed to paper sensor E (paper)?
• No Replace paper sensor E (paper).
Replace the stepping roller or friction pad.
Check the coil resistance of magnet H. Is the resistance normal (about 120 Ω)?
Is +26 V supplied between CN8 Pin 1 and CN8 Pin 2 of the main control board?
Check the gear block or replace the hopping shaft assy.
Connect the CN7 connectors correctly.
Replace the pulse motor (main).
