1. Damping adjusting screw

CAUTION:
Always tighten the locknut against the spring
adjusting ring, and then torque it to specifica-
tions.
2. Adjust damping force as follows.
Turn the adjusting screw in direction a to
increase damping force and in direction b
to decrease damping force.
Standard: 15 clicks out*
Minimum (Soft): 20 clicks out*
Maximum (Hard): Fully turned-in position
*From the fully turned-in position
CAUTION:
Never attempt to turn an adjusting mecha-
nism beyond the maximum or minimum set-
tings.
