 Remove any soiling from the control panel and from the front of
the appliance straight away.
Otherwise the surfaces can become discolored or changed.
 All surfaces are susceptible to scratches.
Contact with unsuitable detergents can alter or discolor the exter-
nal surfaces.

Cleaning the control panel

Clean the control panel with a clean sponge and a solution of dish-
washing liquid and hot water or with a clean damp microfiber cloth.
Dry the control panel with a soft cloth afterwards.
 Do not use abrasive detergents!
These can damage the control panel.

Cleaning the front of the dishwasher

To clean the stainless steel front panel, use a damp cloth with either
a solution of liquid dish soap and hot water or a non-abrasive
cleaning agent suitable for use on stainless steel.
To keep the front panel from getting dirty again (fingerprints, etc.), a
stainless steel conditioner can be used after cleaning (e.g., Neoblank,
available from Miele Service).
 Do not use cleaning agents containing ammonium chloride or
thinners!
These agents can damage the surface material.
 When cleaning, do not hose down the dishwasher or its direct
vicinity, e.g. with a water hose or pressure washer.

Cleaning the wash cabinet

The wash cabinet is largely self-cleaning, provided that the correct
amount of detergent is always used.
If, despite this, lime scale or grease deposits accumulate in the cabi-
net, these can be removed with a proprietary dishwasher cleaner
(available from Miele).
