Possible cause and solution
Water inlet fault.
One of these numbers will appear in the display if the flow
pressure is too high and the program will be cancelled.
The flow pressure at the water intake point is too high
(see "Technical data"). Contact Miele Service for advice.
The water outlet is restricted. There might be water in the
wash cabinet.
Clean the filter combination (see "Cleaning and care").
Clean the drain pump (see "Frequently asked ques-
tions").
Clean the non-return valve (see "Frequently asked ques-
tions").
Remove any kink or loop in the drain hose.
The door was obstructed when closing and cannot be
drawn into the final closed position.
Remove the obstruction from the vicinity of the door.
Heavy objects positioned in front of the dishwasher prevent
the Comfort Door Lock from automatically opening the
door.
Do not place any (heavy) objects in front of the dish-
washer door.
Fault during program start. There may still be water in the
wash cabinet.
Clean the filter combination (see "Cleaning and care").
Clean the non-return valve (see "Frequently asked ques-
tions").
The Waterproof system was activated.
Close the water supply valve.
Contact Miele Service.
A malfunction may have occurred.
After waiting 10 seconds:
Turn the dishwasher back on.
Select the desired program.
Press the Start/Stop button.
If the fault message is displayed again, there has been a
malfunction.
