Changing the Engine-Oil Filter
Service Interval: Every 200 hours
Note: Change the engine-oil filter more frequently when
operating conditions are extremely dusty or sandy.
1. Drain the oil from the engine; refer to
Engine Oil (page
39).

Note: Ensure that the oil-filter gasket touches the
engine, and then the oil filter an extra 3/4 turn.

Servicing the Spark Plugs

Service Interval: Every 500 hours/Yearly (whichever comes
first)—Check and gap the spark plug.

Make sure that the air gap between the center and side
electrodes is correct before installing the spark plugs. Use a
spark-plug wrench for removing and installing the spark plugs
and a gapping tool/feeler gauge to check and adjust the air
gap. Install new spark plugs if necessary.
Type : Champion
or equivalent
Air Gap: 0.76 mm (0.030 inch)
Removing the Spark Plugs
1. Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait for all
moving parts to stop before leaving the operating
position.
2. Disengage the PTO, move the motion-control levers

3. Remove the left hydraulic-unit shroud in the order
listed with
