Preparation
Espresso
Fill the container with water.
Insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet
and use the On/Off switch to turn the
appliance on. The main red indicator light
comes on.
Set the selector to the hot-water position
(raised position).
Preheat the filter holder and the cup(s).
Remove the filter holder, fill with ground
espresso coffee or load a pad and re-attach
it.
Place the cup(s) underneath the filter
holder outlets.
When the temperature indicator light
comes on, turn the valve selector control to
position
. The espresso is now delivered
straight into the cup(s)
Once the cup(s) are full, turn the valve
selector to its neutral position to switch the
pump off (position ).
Wait for approximately 30 seconds before
detaching the filter holder and removing
the espresso grounds.
The espresso maker is now ready for
another brewing cycle.
Coffee crème
For coffee crème, use finely ground coffee
instead of ground espresso; otherwise proceed
as described above.
Dispensing hot water
Place a cup under the steam nozzle
(without fitting the milk frother).
To dispense hot water, the filter holder (with
a sieve fitted) must be in place; this is to
ensure that the boiler outlet is safely
covered while hot water is being emitted.
Turn the selector button to the hot-water
(raised) position.
Once the temperature indicator light comes
on, turn the valve selector control to

Once the cup is filled, turn the valve

Dispensing steam for heating beverages
For heating up milk or other beverages, steam
can be drawn from the steam nozzle.
Press the selector button so that it is locked
in the lower position.
To dispense steam, the filter holder (with a
sieve fitted) must be in place; this is to
ensure that the boiler outlet is safely
covered while steam is being emitted.

milk frother) into the liquid to be heated
and turn the selector switch slowly to

Dispensing steam for frothing milk
Fill a suitable jug with around 100 ml of
cold milk (do not preheat the jug).
Push the hot-water/steam selector button in
so that it is locked in the lower position.
To dispense steam, the filter holder (with a
sieve fitted) must be in place; this is to
ensure that the boiler outlet is safely
covered while steam is being emitted.
Fit the milk frother onto the steam tube.
Place the jug with the milk under the milk
frother; the frother must be submerged in
the milk.
Turn the valve selector control to the
position. After around 10 seconds, steam is
emitted from the nozzle.
Move the jug round with a circular motion
