In order to prevent another person from using this unit if it is
stolen, you can set a PIN number and input your personal
information.
Once the PIN number has been set, you cannot return to the
factory preset. Make sure not to forget this.

Refer to the following when "Power Save" is set to "On".
 Power consumption is minimized when the unit is turned off

 Startup of the unit becomes slower compared to when "Power
Save" is "Off".
 When the unit is off, the digital satellite TV programmes cannot
be watched on the TV because the signal from the digital
satellite receiver connected to AV2 terminal of this unit is not
looped through. To watch them, turn on the unit.

Tips
Using the numbered buttons to enter characters
e.g.: entering the letter "R"
1. Press [7] to move to the 7th row.
2. Press [7] twice to highlight "R".
3. Press [OK].
To enter a space
Press [ DELETE], then press [OK].
To delete a character
Press [ PAUSE] on a character in the name fi eld.
To cancel in the middle
Press [RETURN].
Characters will not be saved.
Notes
If you enter a long name, only part of it is shown in the
Top Menu after fi nalisation (
title name, the name that will appear in the Top Menu
can be previewed in "Top Menu Preview" window.
