Timer Recording

You can enter up to 32 programmes up to a month in advance.
(Each daily or weekly programme is counted as one programme.)
Preparation:
Turn on the television and select the appropriate video input to suit the
connections to this unit.
Turn on this unit.
If recording to DVD, insert a disc that you use for recording (
Confirm that the clock on the unit's display is set to the correct time.
Using VIDEO Plus+ system
Entering PlusCode numbers is an easy way of timer recording. You can fi nd
these numbers in TV listings in newspapers and magazines.
Using PlusCode numbers for digital satellite stations
Set this unit to recognise PlusCode numbers for digital satellite stations
before you start the following operations (
digital satellite stations).
You can also record programmes from digital satellite receiver by
RGB signals.
Preparation:
Set "AV2 Input" to "RGB/Video" or "RGB" (
Set your Sky Digital STB to output "RGB" signals.
VIDEO Plus+
– The VIDEO Plus+ screen appears.
Enter the PlusCode number with the numbered
buttons.
– Press [] to move back to correct a digit.

Confi rm the programme (start and end time) by
TV magazine, etc. and correct if necessary using

– The settings are stored and the timer programme is on.
– The timer icon is displayed.
– "" lights on the unit's display to indicate timer recording standby has been activated.
– Repeat steps – to programme other recordings.
– Press [DVD] to turn the unit off.
