Now that you have connected your computers to the Advanced Secure
USB Switch, it is ready for use.
Connect the USB device you wish to share between the computers, to
the usb device port on the back of the Belkin Advanced Secure USB
Switch.
The default channel after power up is the first active channel for the
specific USB device which is connected as indicated by channel select
LED illumination. For example, if a certain USB device is enabled for
ports 1, 3 and 4, the Switch will default to channel 1. In case the USB
device is enabled for ports 3 and 4, the Switch will default to channel 3.
lock function
It is possible to lock the device on a specific channel preventing the user
from accidentally moving the device to a different channel.
Lock the device by pressing the Lock Button on the front panel of the
Advanced Secure USB Switch.
Locking the device supersedes pressing the channel buttons or
selecting an active channel on the DCU. To exit lock mode, press the
Lock button again.

dCu Port
The Advanced Secure USB Switch has a DCU port, designed to
connect Belkin Secure Desktop Controller Unit (DCU) to control the
Advanced Secure USB Switch remotely. The DCU also synchronizes
the selected channel on the USB switch with the same channel on a
Belkin Secure KVM.
