Using the card

Cards compatible with this camera
microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC memory card (commercially available)
(for compatibility card details, visit the Olympus website.)
• Use a Class 10 or better SDXC memory card. Use SDXC UHS-I cards when
recording 4K movies.
Format
Cards must be formatted with this camera before first use or after being
used with other cameras or computers.
• Deleting data or formatting the card using [Erase], [All Erase], or [Format]
does not completely erase all data from the card. Before disposing of a card,
destroy it or take other steps to prevent disclosure of personal information.
Readout/recording process of the card
The camera displays [Busy...] or [Do Not Remove Cable] while data are
being recorded to the card. Under no circumstances should you open the
battery/card compartment/connector cover, remove the card, or disconnect
USB cables while either message is displayed. Failure to observe this
precaution could not only corrupt image files but also render the card
unusable.
