TAKING PICTURES

Compose the picture.
Turn the Diopter adjustment dial to see the Autofocus mark
clearly.

Press the Shutter release button halfway to lock the focus.
The Green lamp lights.

Press the Shutter release button all the way to take the
picture.

The Green lamp blinks when the picture is taken.

When the picture display on the LCD monitor disappears
and the Green lamp stops blinking, you can take the next
picture. (It takes 7 to 12 seconds or longer for the picture
display to disappear, depending on the setting of the
resolution or the condition of the SmartMedia.)
The viewfinder shows 95% of the actual picture taken.
Caution:
Never open the Card compartment cover, eject
the card, remove the batteries or disconnect the
AC adapter while the Card access lamp is
blinking. It may destroy the data in the card.
