TimeCooking
During convectioncooking, a
heating element is used to raise
the temperature of the air inside
the oven. A fan gently circulates
this heated air throughout the
oven$over and around the food,
producing golden brown
exteriorsand rich, moist
interiors. Because the heated air
is kept constantly moving, not
permitting
a
layer of cooler air to
developaround the food; some
foods cook faster than in
conventionaloven cooking.

How
to Convection
Preheatand Time Cook
Step 1:
TouchCONVECTION
COOKpad. Timeofdaydisappears
fromthe displayand "ENTER
CONVTEMP" flashes.
Step2:
Enterthe oventemperature
bytouchingthe numberpadsthat
correspondwith the desiredoven
mnperature. For example,touch
numberpads2, '7, a nd 5 for 275°F.
The selecledtemperatureis shown
on the display.
Step
3: Touch
START.
Theselected
oventemperature disappears and
"-200"appears u ntil o ven temperature
reaches200°F.thendisplays oven
temperature u ntilpresettemperature
is reached.Ovensignalsand
"ENTERCONVTIME"flashes
whentemperature is reached.If
youdo notopendoorwithin30
minutes,theovenwillturn itself
offautomatically.
Step
4: Whenovenis preheated,
placefoodin oven.Whenthedoor
is opened,"Hot" appearson the
display.
Step
5: Setthedesiredcookingtime
in hoursand minutesbytouching
numberpads in sequence.For
example,to set 2 hoursand 30
minutes,touchnumberpads2, 3,
and Oin thatorder.Thistime
appearson the displayas "2H:30V
Toentertime lessthanonehour,
for example,30 minutes,touch3
andO.Displayshows"H:30" until
STARTis touched.
Step
6: TouchSTART pad.The
displayshowsremaining cooking
time.If timeis lessthan 1hour
displayshowsminutesand
seconds.If longer,timecounts
downminutebyminuteuntil59
minutesremain,thenswitches to
displayminutesandseconds.When
cookingis completed, t hedisplay
shows"End" andthe ovensignals
andturnsoff.
