PAIR CHECK VALVE INSPECTION

For the rear cylinder PAIR check valve removal,

remove the fuel tank (page 2-4).

Remove the bolts, PAIR check valve cover and PAIR

check valve from the cylinder head cover.

Check the reed for damage or fatigue. Replace if

Replace the PAIR check valve if the seat rubber is

cracked, deteriorated or damaged, or if there is

clearance between the reed and seat.

Install the PAIR check valve and cover onto the cyl-

inder head cover.

Apply locking agent to the cover bolt threads.

Install and tighten the bolts.

TORQUE: 5 N·m (0.52 kgf.m ,3.8 Ibf·ft)
