Editing objects

You can edit objects and values from Device Manager in the following ways:

Description
Applies the changes you have entered in fields on a tab or
dialog box. The button is dimmed until you change a parameter.
Changes are displayed as bold text or numbers.
Opens a dialog box to create a new entry for a table; then from
the dialog box, inserts the new entry in the table.
Deletes a selected entry.
Refreshes the information in the window. Every time you click on
Refresh, new information is polled from the switch and displayed.
Closes the tab or dialog box and disregards any changes you
have made to fields.
Opens context-sensitive online Help.
Resizes table columns to fit the data in them.
Stops the current action (polling).
Copies selected items to your computer's memory clipboard.
Pastes the contents of your computer's clipboard.
Resets any configuration values you have changed back to their
original value.
Allows you to copy data to external media.
Prints the contents of any table that is displayed.
Graphs selected data.
Saves the current table in ASCII format in a file you specify. The
table contains tabs so you can then import this file into a text
editor or spreadsheet for further analysis.
Prints the current table.
Select an object; from the Device Manager toolbar click Edit Selected.
The edit dialog box opens for that object.
From the shortcut menu for a chassis, card, port, or any other object,
choose Edit.
The edit dialog box opens for that object.
Double-click an object.
