A Guided Tour of the RP14D

The Front Panel

1. Footswitches - The footswitches are used to select Programs, change
Banks, access the Tuner, turn individual effects on and off, change
Amp Channels, select functions in Learn-A-Lick mode, or bypass
the RP14D.
2 Matrix - The matrix provides all information regarding the current
Program, parameter edit functions, and tuning status. While in
program mode, the horizontal LEDs of the Matrix will provide a
visual indication of which effects are in use for the current
program. While in Edit mode, the horizontal LEDs will indicate
which effect is being edited, and the vertical LEDs will indicate the
effects parameter that has been selected. Following the horizontal
and vertical LEDs across the matrix to the point where they
intersect will indicate which parameter is selected. The Parameter
buttons will select different effects or parameters which will be
represented by the corresponding LEDs lighting. In Tuner mode,
the horizontal LEDs indicate whether you are sharp, flat, or in
tune. In Learn-A-Lick mode, the horizontal LEDs provide a timing
reference for record and playback.
3. Numeric Display - The Numeric Display performs several different
functions depending on the mode that has been selected. In
Program mode, the Numeric Display will show the currently
selected Bank and Program number and momentarily flash the
active Amp Model when the Amp Channel is switched. In Edit
mode, the Numeric Display will show the value of the currently
selected parameter. In Tuner mode, the Numeric Display will show
the note played.
4. Store Button- The Store button is used to save your custom edits to
the user Programs.
5. Value Up/Down Buttons - The Value Up and Down buttons serve a
dual purpose. In Program mode, they will advance and decrement
through all factory and user Programs. In Edit mode, they will
increase or decrease the value of the currently selected parameter.
6. Edit Button - This button will take you in and out of the Edit mode.
7. Parameter Select Buttons - The Parameter buttons are used to
select the effects, and parameters to edit. The Left and Right
Parameter buttons are used to select the Effect which will be
represented by the horizontal LED. The Up and Down Parameter
buttons are used to select the Parameter of the selected Effect.
Simply follow the horizontal and vertical LEDs across the Matrix to
the point where they intersect. This will be the parameter you are
about to edit.
8. Output Level - This knob controls the level of signal coming out of
the RP14D.

1. Pedales - Los pedales son usados para seleccionar Programas, cambiar
Bancos, acceder al Afinador, activar y desactivar efectos individuales,
cambiar Canales de Amplificación, seleccionar funciones en el modo
Learn-A-Lick o anular el RP14D.
2. Matriz - La matriz proporciona toda la información correspondiente al
Programa actual, funciones de edición de parámetro y estado de
afinación. En modo programa, los LED horizontales de la Matriz
proporcionan una indicación visual de qué efecto está en uso para el
programa actual. En modo Edición, los LED horizontales indicarán qué
efecto está siendo editado y los LED verticales indicarán el parámetro de
efectos que haya sido seleccionado. Siguiendo los LED verticales y
horizontales por la matriz hasta el punto en que se cortan verá qué
parámetro está seleccionado. Los botones de Parámetro seleccionarán
distintos efectos o parámetros que serán representados con la
iluminación de los LED correspondientes. En modo Afinación, los LED
horizontales indican si está en sostenido, bemol o en tono. En el modo
Learn-A-Lick, los LED horizontales proporcionan una referencia de
tiempo para grabación y reproducción.
3. Pantalla Numérica - La Pantalla Numérica realiza funciones diferentes
según el modo seleccionado. En modo Programa, la Pantalla Numérica
mostrará el número de Banco y Programa seleccionado en ese
momento y parpadeará brevemente el Modelo de Amp activo cuando el
Canal de Amplificación sea conectado. En modo Edición, la Pantalla
Numérica mostrará el valor del parámetro seleccionado en ese
momento. En modo Afinación, la Pantalla Numérica mostrará la nota
que se toque.
4. Botón Store- El botón Store es utilizado para guardar sus ediciones
de los Programas de Usuario.
5. Botones Value Up/Down - Los Botones Value Up y Down sirven para
dos propósitos. En modo Programa, avanzarán y retrocederán por
todos los Programas de fábrica y de usuario. En modo Edición
aumentarán o disminuirán el valor del parámetro seleccionado en
ese momento.
6. Botón Edit - Este botón le permite entrar y salir del modo Edición.
7. Botones Selección de Parámetro - Los botones Parámetro son
usados para seleccionar los efectos y parámetros a editar. Los botones
Parámetro Izquierda y Derecha son usados para seleccionar el Efecto
que será representado por el LED horizontal. Los botones de
Parámetro Arriba y Abajo son usados para seleccionar el Parámetro
del Efecto seleccionado. Simplemente siga los LED horizontales y
verticales por la Matriz hasta el punto de corte. Este será el parámetro
que está a punto de editar.
8. Nivel de Salida - Este mando controla el nivel de la señal que sale
del RP14D.
