Set your Printing Preferences
Set the Printable Area (Macintosh)
This functionality allows you to adjust the printable area settings for
standard CD/DVD 120 mm media. These settings control the outer and inner
diameter so that the label prints on the disc without overlapping on the disc
edges.

1. Access
2. From the third dropdown list, select Printable Area Settings. The
Printable Area Settings pane displays.
3. View or change the Printable Area preferences.
a. Enter the desired values in the Outer and Inner fields to change the
settings for standard printable area.
b. To set the printable area for a disc with a stacking ring:
i.
Select Advanced. The advanced settings display.
ii. Enter the desired values in the Outer Hub and Inner Hub fields.
4. To continue setting your printing preferences, select other options from
the third dropdown list.
OR
Select Print to print the label.
Adjust the Print Alignment and Color Density (Macintosh)
In the Everest Utility, you can adjust the print alignment and the color
density. The Everest Utility also allows you to view information such as the
current firmware version, serial number and installed ribbon type, and to
update your printer firmware.
Important: The settings in the Everest Utility can be modified only when the
printer is idle and no jobs are currently printing.
1. Access the Everest Utility.

2. From the CDPR23 toolbar, select Utility. The Everest Utility opens.
3. Select the Alignment tab. The alignment settings display.
4. View or change the print alignment settings.
5. View or change the color density settings.
6. Select Save to save the modified settings. The Everest Utility closes.
Check the Ribbon Remaining
The operator panel on Rimage Producer III, Producer IIIN, Professional
5100N, and Professional 5300N autoloaders displays the estimated number
of prints remaining on the print ribbon and the retransfer ribbon.
For standalone Everest 600 printers and AutoPrinters, you can check the
amount of ribbon remaining using the Status feature of the printer driver.
Use the following procedure to check the amount of ribbon remaining for a
standalone Everest 600 printer or AutoEverest AutoPrinter.

a. Select: System Preferences > Print & Fax. The Print & Fax window
opens.
b. In the printer list, double-click CDPR23.
a. Move the All Color slider in the Horizontal Alignment Settings pane
to modify the horizontal alignment for all ribbon types.
b. Move the Color slider in the Vertical Alignment Settings pane to
modify the vertical alignment for prints with a CMY ribbon.
c. Move the Monochrome slider in the Vertical Alignment Settings
pane to modify the vertical alignment for prints with a monochrome
ribbon.
a. Select the Density tab. The density settings display.
b. Move the Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow sliders to modify the color
density settings.
c. Move the Black slider to modify the grayscale density settings.
