Maintenance
The LS 4800 scanner, battery pack, and power supply have
been designed to provide reliable service over an extended
period of time with virtually no maintenance.
For the scanner, the only maintenance required is periodic re-
charging of the battery pack and cleaning of the exit window.
• Do not allow any abrasive material to touch the window.
• Remove any dirt particles with a damp cloth.
• Wipe the window using a tissue moistened with
ammonia/water.
• Do not spray water or other cleaning liquids directly into
the window.
