10 - ensure your phone is secure
What are the security codes for?
Your Orange phone comes with a number of
preset security codes. Each code controls
one of your phone's security features. Use the
table below to identify which code you will
need to activate each feature.

Scroll to Number list and press Select.
You will see Fixed dialling list empty in
the display and you will be prompted to
enter your PIN2 code again. Enter the
code and press OK.

Enter the number and press OK.
Enter the name and press OK.
Call barring can be used
selectively to bar outgoing
and incoming calls
The Call barring password is preset to
1111. Emergency calls to 999 or 112 can
be made while Call barring is on.

From the main display press Menu, scroll
to Settings and press Select. Scroll to
Security settings and press Select.

Scroll to Call barring service and press
Select.

Select from the following Call barring
options:
Outgoing calls

10.3
International calls
I
International calls except to home
I
country
Incoming calls
I
Incoming calls when abroad
I
Cancel all barrings
I

Select Activate, Cancel or Check status
and press OK.

Enter your password and press OK.
security code protects
your phone against
unauthorised use
The security code is preset to 12345.

scroll to Settings and press Select.
Scroll to Security settings and press
Select.

Scroll to Security level and press Select.

Enter the preset Security code - 12345.

Select the level of protection you would
like for your phone. Choose from:
None

You will never be asked for your
Security code.
Memory

Your phone will ask you for your
Security code whenever you select
the phone's internal memory or copy
from one memory to another.
Phone
I
Your phone will ask for your Security
code whenever a new SIM Card is
inserted into the phone.
