call your favourite numbers
without having to enter
your phonebook
Speed dialling allows you to call eight of
your most used numbers by pressing just
one key. These numbers are stored in
keys 2 to 9.
To activate speed dialling:
1 Press Menu. Select Settings and then
select Call settings.
2 Select Speed dialling and select On.
To assign a number to a speed dial:
1 Press Names and then select Speed
dials. Scroll to the speed dial key that
you want to assign the number to and
press Assign.
2 Press Search to choose the name and
number that you wish to assign then
press Select.
3 Scroll to the number that you want to
assign and press Select.
To make a call using speed dialling:
1 From the main display press and hold
the key assigned to the number you
want.
2 Your phone will dial the number.
To edit your speed dial numbers:
1 Press Names and select Speed dials.
2 Scroll to the number you wish to edit
and press Options.
3 Choose to View, Change or Delete the
assigned number.

Your phone comes with a voice recognition
feature. This means you can call any
number stored in your phonebook simply by
saying the name of the person you want to
call. You can store up to 10 voice tags in
your phone.
To record a number as a voice tag:
1 From the main display press to
enter your phonebook.
2 Scroll to the name you want to add a
voice tag to and select Details. Scroll to
the phone number you want and press
Options. Select Add voice tag.
3 Press Start and say the name of the
person into the phone, holding the phone
as you would whilst on a call. After
recording the phone will play the
recorded voice tag.
4 Voice tag saved is displayed, a beep
sounds and appears after the
number with the voice tag.
To use voice dialling:
1 From the main display press and hold
Names. You will hear a tone and see
Speak now.
2 Say the person's name into the phone
loudly and clearly, holding it in the usual
position. Your phone automatically dials
the number.
To change or erase a voice tag:
1 From the main display press Names and
select Voice tags. Scroll through the tags
and press Options when you reach the
tag you would like to change.
2 Choose from the following:
Playback
I
Change
I
Delete
I
Note: You cannot use voice dialling to make
a call while transmitting data using GPRS.
