To open your phonebook press

This opens your phonebook in alphabetical
order

To call an entry in your phonebook scroll
to the person you would like to talk to and
press
.
To add a new entry to your phonebook:

Press Names and select Add name.

Enter the name. Press each key the
relevant number of times to get the letter
you need. For example, to get the letter
J press the 5 key once and to get the
letter S press the 7 key four times. Press
0 for a space.

Press Clear to delete a character or press
and hold Clear to delete the entire name.
Press OK when you are done.
Which phonebook should I save my
numbers in?
You can store up to 90 names and numbers
on your SIM Card. Your phone's internal
memory is dynamic and is shared by all
your phone's features. For example, saving
a high number of ring tones may affect the
number of contacts you can store in your
phone's memory.
You will be able to access any numbers
stored in the SIM phonebook if you use your
SIM Card in another phone. Numbers saved
in your SIM Card will be denoted by the
symbol. See page 3.5 for more details.
You should store contacts in your phone's
memory if you wish to add additional data to
the phone number, for example an email
address. You can personalise these contacts
in a number of ways, including assigning ring
tones and pictures to appear when they call.

contact will be saved to your phone's
memory.
to search for a name in
your phonebook
The quickest way to find a name is to press
then the key which corresponds with
the initial letter of the name you are looking
for. If you press a key twice in quick
succession, you will go to the names
starting with the second letter on the key.
Another way to search is to select Names
from the main menu. Search will be
highlighted. Press Select. Key in the name
or the first few letters of the name you are
looking for. The menu will move to the
entries that match.

and tell the operator the name or place
you are looking for and they will tell you the
number (you can request three numbers per
call). Then, they will send a text message to your
phone at no extra cost, allowing you to call the
number directly from the message or add it
straight to your phonebook.
Each time you call we'll search for up to three
numbers for a fixed fee of only 50.2p. There's no
charge for being connected straight through,
and the on going call is 25.5p per minute. All
prices are excluding VAT.
