9 - manage your time and calls
setting the time and date
To set your phone's time and date:
1 Your phone will ask you to enter the time
and date each time you use a new
SIM Card in your phone.
2 Enter the time using the keypad and
press OK.
3 Enter the date using the keypad and
press OK.
Note: If you need to reset the time select
Time and date settings from the Settings
menu.

Your 3510i has a built in Organiser to
remind you of important events.
To set your phone's alarm clock:
1 Press Menu, scroll to Organiser and
press Select. Alarm Clock is displayed
along with the alarm status - Off or On.
2 Press Select, set the alarm time and
then press OK.
3 When the alarm rings, turn it to snooze
by pressing Snooze, or turn it off by
pressing Stop. If the phone is switched
off when the alarm is due it will switch
itself on and sound the alarm. You will be
asked if you want to activate the phone
for calls when you press Stop.
Note: If using the alarm, you must ensure
that it is not set to go off during a flight, as it
may interfere with the aircraft equipment. It is
illegal to use your mobile phone in an aircraft.

You can use your phone's Calendar to
store appointments and set yourself
reminders.
To make a Calendar note:
1 Press Menu, scroll to Organiser and
press Select.
2 Select Calendar. Scroll to the day that
you want to add a note to or press
Options and select Go to date.
3 Once you are at the date you want press
Options and select Make a note. Select
the type of note you want. Choose from:
Reminder
I
Call
I
Birthday
I
4 Enter the note and press Options. Select
Save.
5 Select Alarm on if you want to be
reminded of the note by an alarm. Enter
the alarm time for the day in question.
Any day with a note attached will appear
in bold on the Calendar.
solve problems with your
Calculator
To use your Calculator:
1 Press Menu. Scroll to Extras and press
Select.
2 Select Calculator. Enter numbers using
the keypad. Press # for a decimal point.
3 Press repeatedly to select the type of
sum you want and to solve it.
To make a currency conversion:
1 In the Calculator press Options and
select Exchange rate.
2 Choose one of the two options. Key in
the exchange rate and press OK.
The rate will be saved and will not
change until it is replaced.
3 Enter the amount to be converted.
Press Options and select In domestic or
In foreign.
Note: Your Calculator has a limited
accuracy and rounding errors may occur.
