Deactivating the http proxy

Make sure that the
http proxy
deactivated so that your Web browser can access your Gigaset SE505 dsl/cable's config-
uration pages.
The following section describes the procedure for Internet Explorer and Netscape. First
decide which browser you are using and then follow the appropriate steps.
Internet Explorer
u
Open Internet Explorer. Click on Extras – Internet Options.

In the Internet Options window click on the Connections tab.

Click on LAN Settings.
u
Clear all the check boxes in the Local Area Network (LAN) settings window and
click on OK.

Click on OK again to close the Internet Options window.
Netscape
u
Open Netscape. Click on Edit and then Settings.
u
Double click on Advanced Category in the Settings windows and then click on
Proxies.
u
Select Direct Connection to Internet.
u
Click on OK to finish.
