Changing basic settings
Each service mode is assigned a display.

All four basic settings can be reset in service mode to the factory settings
(see section 7.6 Resetting the appliance to the factory settings on page 83).
7.2

Setting the energy save programme

If the adjacent display lights up in service mode, the energy save pro-
gramme can be set.
The energy save programme causes lowering of the heating temperature.
The display on the control panel also becomes dimmer.
If the appliance is not operated for a long time, it automatically switches to
the energy save programme after a specified time.
The following times can be set:

Finish the energy save programme by pressing any button.
Requirement: The service mode is called up.
1. Press the "Service" button repeatedly until the display for the energy
save programme appears.
2. Press the "Coffee strength" button repeatedly until the desired time is
set.
