NECKSTRAP
To attach the neckstrap, thread the ends of the neckstrap through the strap lugs (Fig. 2,
b) on each side of the binocular, then back through the plastic buckle. Adjust the position
of the binoculars on your chest as they hang around your neck to your preference by
changing the length of the strap portion which passes through the lug and buckle by an
equal amount on each side.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CARE

Your Bushnell Spectator Sport Zoom binocular will provide years of trouble-free service if
it receives the normal care you would give any fine optical instrument.
• Avoid banging and dropping.
• Store in a cool, dry place.

LENS CLEANING

To clean the optics of your binocular without risk of scratching the glass or damaging the
anti-reflective coatings, follow these steps:
1. Blow away any dust or debris on the lenses, using a soft, clean lens brush.
2. After loose dust/debris has been removed, remove skin oil or finger prints if
necessary by breathing on the lens and wiping off the condensation with a microfiber
cloth, rubbing gently in a circular motion. Use of a coarse textured/soiled cloth (shirt
tail, paper towel, etc.) or unnecessary rubbing may scratch the lens surface and
eventually cause permanent damage.
3. If a more thorough cleaning is needed, photographic lens tissue and photographic-
type lens cleaning fluid or isopropyl (not rubbing) alcohol may be used. Always apply
the fluid to the cleaning cloth – never directly on the lens.
5
NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN WITH YOUR BINOCULAR,
AS IT MAY CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO YOUR EYES
