Precautions for Your Flash Unit

● Never use organic solvents such as paint thinner, alcohol
or benzene to clean the flash unit.
● Avoid leaving the flash unit for extended periods in places
where the humidity and temperature may be very high
such as in a car.
● Be careful not to subject the flash unit to strong vibrations,
shock or pressure. Use a cushion to protect the flash unit
when carrying it in a motorcycle, car, boat, etc.
● Do not use the flash unit where it may be directly exposed
to rain, water, etc.
● Replace all the batteries at the same time. Do not mix
battery brands, type or an old battery with a new one. It
may cause explosion or overheating.
● When using the flash unit off the camera, do not try to
attach any metallic object to the electric contacts or to
mount incompatible accessories. Otherwise, the TTL auto
mechanism may be damaged or rendered inoperable.
● Do not attach any accessories having either fewer or
different electrical contacts (layout other than PENTAX
standard) for the hot shoe or grip. Otherwise, some
functions may not work properly.

Precauzioni per l'utilizzo del flash

● Per la pulizia del flash, non utilizzate mai solventi organici
come diluenti per vernici, alcool o benzene.
● Evitate di lasciare il flash per lungo tempo in ambienti ad alta
umidità o a temperature elevate, come quelle che si possono
raggiungere in certe condizioni all'interno dei veicoli.
● Non sottoponete il flash a vibrazioni, urti o pressioni di
elevata intensità. Durante i viaggi in moto, auto o barca,
proteggete l'apparecchio con un'adeguata imbottitura.
● Non usate il flash dove potrebbe venire esposto direttamente
a pioggia, spruzzi, ecc.
● Sostituite tutte le batterie contemporaneamente.
Non mischiate batterie vecchie con altre nuove, di altra
marca o tipo poiché sussiste il rischio di esplosione
o surriscaldamento.
● Utilizzando il flash separato dalla fotocamera, evitate
che qualunque oggetto metallico possa toccare i contatti
elettrici e non montate accessori incompatibili. In caso
contrario, il sistema auto TTL può rimanere danneggiato
e inutilizzabile.
● Non usate accessori dotati di slitta con un numero di contatti
elettrici inferiore o differente da quello del flash (schema
diverso dallo standard PENTAX). In caso contrario, alcune
funzioni possono non operare correttamente.
