Taking pictures in auto flash mode

n Auto flash modes
The AF160FC has two auto flash modes. The flash unit
communicates with the camera and automatically selects
a mode.
P-TTL auto A pre-flash is discharged before a picture is taken so

flash that the metering sensor in the camera can assess
the subject and adjust the output of the flash. This
makes it possible to adjust the exposure more
accurately than with TTL auto.
TTL auto The metering sensor in the camera measures the
flash amount of light coming through the lens and adjusts
the flash output.
P-TTL auto and TTL auto switch automatically depending on
the camera and lens settings. The table on the following page
shows the modes used by different types of cameras.

L'AF160FC ha due modi flash automatici. Il lampeggiatore
comunica con la fotocamera e seleziona automaticamente
un modo.
Flash Un pre-lampo viene emesso prima dello scatto,
automatico in modo che l'esposimetro della fotocamera possa
P-TTL valutare il soggetto e regolare la potenza del flash.
In questo modo è possibile regolare l'esposizione
con maggiore precisione rispetto al modo
automatico TTL.
Flash L'esposimetro della fotocamera misura la quantità di
automatico luce che attraversa l'obiettivo e regola di conseguenza
TTL l'emissione del flash.
I modi automatici P-TTL e TTL commutano automaticamente
in base alla fotocamera e alle impostazioni dell'obiettivo.
