2. Remove the direct drive shaft oil
gearbox casing.
T remove ring,

mounted unit, operate as per figure
making use of tool A.3.0452.
retaining the pin @ connecting the
direct drive s h a f t @ t o
joint 0.
Remove the pin in question and pull
remove the spring ring @ retaininq
the pin that connects the primary
shaft to the joint; remove this latter
pin and pull out the joint from the
primary shaft.

4. Having removed the direct drive
shaft, if necessaryL remove the direct
drive shaft bush with the help of tool
A.3.0291.
This tool removes also
with
the oil seal ring.
