Closed caption
This item allows the subtitle to be displayed for the audio contents or other information. If the input
source contains closed caption, you can enable this function and change the channel. Press
select OFF, CC1, CC2, CC3 or CC4.
√ Note:
Only under the following circumstances can you select Closed Caption:
● The input signal source is of NTSC or S-video with compound video signal, and the system has
been set as Auto according to the signal.
● AV system of E1655 should be set as NTSC or Auto.
● When Closed Caption is disabled, it turns grey.
● When on-screen menu and Timer appear, Closed Caption can't be enabled.
Lamp control
This item allows you to set the brightness of the screen.
Normal : The normal brightness.
Eco : Low brightness. It can reduce the power consumption and ensure the service life of the lamp.
Auto : Brightness is adjusted according to the input signal.
Test pattern
This item allows you to set the internal signal of the system.
Security("Key lock" and "PIN code lock")
This item provides two options, "key lock" and "PIN code lock", to ensure the security of the
projector's operation.
Key lock
This function locks the on-top control panel of E1655 or the remote control to prevent the authorized
operation.
To enable this function, select Key Lock and press Select, then press
OFF: Unlocked.
Projector: Lock the on-top control panel of E1655. To unlock it, use the remote control.
Remote control: Lock the remote control. To un lock it, use the on-top control panel of E1655.
If the on-top control panel of E1655 is accidentally locked, and there is no remote control nearby or
the remote control malfunctions, you should contact the local distributor or the repair center.
