A typical 45¡ installation uses the minimum framing dimensions shown in the illustration below (NOTE:
all clearances still apply).

Raised Fireplaces

• The fireplace (and hearth, if desired) may be placed on a platform designed to support the fireplace
(approximately 300 Lbs.) and vent.
¥ The fireplace may not be raised so as to place the ceiling within 40" of the top of the faceplate or to
reduce the fireplace enclosure to less than 75Ó.
