D D Transmitting an All Ships call
Large ships use Channel 70 as their 'listening channel.' When
you want to announce a message to all ships within range,
use the 'All Ships Call' function.
q Enter "A A l l l l S S h h i i p p s s C C a a l l l l " in DSC menu.

(Push [MENU])
(Rotate [SELECTOR], then push [ENT].)
w Rotate [SELECTOR] to select the desired category, push
[ENT].
• Output power of 'Routine' category is 1 W (low power) only.
• The selectable category may differ according to the programmed
setting. Ask your dealer for the available categories.

e Push [ENT] to transmit the All ships call.
• Channel 70 is selected and the All ships call is transmitted.
r After the All ships call has been transmitted, the following
indication is displayed.
All Ships Call
TX Complete
<CLR˘Exit>
t Push [CLR] to exit and the transceiver selects Channel 16
automatically.
• Even if [CLR] hasn't been pushed, the transceiver automatically
selects Channel 16 after 2 sec. inactivity.
