D D Transmitting an Individual Acknowledgement
When receiving an Individual call, you can transmit an ac-
knowledgement ('Able to comply' or 'Unable to comply') by
using the on screen prompts (see page 33 for details). You
can also send an acknowledgement through the menu sys-
tem as follows.
q Enter "I I n n d d i i v v i i d d u u a a l l A A C C K K " in DSC menu.
D D S S C C M M e e n n u u  ➪ I I n n d d i i v v i i d d u u a a l l A A C C K K 
(Push [MENU]) (Rotate [SELECTOR], then push [ENT].)
• "I I n n d d i i v v i i d d u u a a l l A A C C K K " item appears after an Individual call is
received.
w Rotate [SELECTOR] to select the desired individual ad-
dress or ID code, push [ENT].

will be transmitted.

r Push [ENT] to transmit the acknowledgement call to the
selected station.
t After the Individual acknowledgement call has been trans-
mitted, the specified channel (specified by the calling sta-
tion) is selected automatically when "A A b b l l e e t t o o C C o o m m - -
p p l l y y " is selected, or returns to the previous condition
(before entering the DSC menu) when "U U n n a a b b l l e e t t o o
C C o o m m p p l l y y " is selected in step e.
