Self-timer

Using the [
] self-timer you can select the self-timer delay. You may also use
the self-timer for interval shooting.
Self-timer settings:
[2 sec.]
The camera automatically takes an image after two seconds.
[10 sec.]
The camera automatically takes an image after ten seconds.
[10+2 sec.]
The camera automatically takes one image after ten seconds, and
then another again after two more seconds
Note:
If the flash capacitor must be charged up, the second shot may be delayed beyond two
seconds.
Interval settings:
[Interval]
The camera automatically takes an image at preset time interval
until memory is full or the battery is depleted.
Activate the self-timer by pressing the shutter button. After selecting this mode, the
self-timer icon displays on LCD monitor and then LED on the front panel blinks
rapidly for the final three seconds. Using the self-timer allows you to get into the
scene when taking group images.
1. Secure the camera on a tripod or place it on a
stable surface.

Toggle the self-timer button in the following order:

4. Compose your image.
5. Press the shutter button down halfway to set exposure and focus, then press
down fully to capture the image.
The self-timer function is activated. The image is taken after the preset time.
