Self Timer
Press the Timer button to turn on the self-timer mode. The icon is shown on the status
LCD display. Press the shutter fully down to trigger the self-timer. You will hear beep sound
in the 7 th second. Then it will take exposure in the 10 th second. The front LED will blink
during the 10-second period.
Digital Zoom
In "Record Mode", press the "DISP" button to turn on the TFT display and press "ENTER"
button to use the 2X Zoom mode. "2 x D Zoom" will be displayed on the bottom left hand
corner of the display. The central portion of the image is enlarged by 2 times. Press Shutter
for taking photos. Press "ENTER" button again or switch off the power, the function of 2 X
Zoom is cancelled.
Note : Once 2 X Zoom is activated, the image resolution will automatically be set to VGA,
i.e. HALF*.
This simulates the effect of using a 2X zoom lens. It is better to review the images on TV /
TFT .

This is the processing time for the camera before it is ready for next shot. See the following
table for details.

Rapid fire mode
In Record mode, press the "RES" button until icon "
and holding the shutter button, you can take continuous photos. The camera will continue
to take photos until the memory in the camera is used up.
Because of the time required to re-charge the strobe after each photo, it is recommended
that the strobe flash be de-activated when using the rapid fire mode.
