AFETY
SAFETY BARRIER INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns
from the hot viewing glass is provided with this
appliance and shall be installed for the protection of
children and other at risk individuals. If the barrier
becomes damaged, the barrier shall be replaced with
the manufacturer's barrier for this appliance.* Any
safety screen, guard, or barrier removed for servicing
the appliance must be replaced prior to operating the
appliance.
* See parts list for model number.
1. Remove screen from packaging.
2. Align the four slots on the sides of the screen frame
(two top, two bottom) Figure 45 with the correspond-
ing shoulder bolts on the fi rebox Figure 46.
3. Slide the screen down onto the shoulder bolts until it
fi ts securely in place.
4. Repeat on other side.
NOTICE: It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure
the barrier is affi xed to the fi replace at the time of instal-
lation.
