Caution
To replace the old battery, use a new battery
with the same current and voltage.
The following problems are related to the charging
system, follow the instructions provided in the
checking list to correct it if any one of the problems
takes place.
(1) The charging voltage can not exceed the
voltage between two battery terminals and
the charging current is in the discharging
direction.
(2) The charging voltage and current are too
much higher than the standard values.
Headlight Voltage Inspection
Turn the headlight ON and to high beam position.
Measure the voltage between the blue wire (+)
and green/white wire (-) while the headlight
harness is still in connection. Measure direct
current voltage with a voltmeter.
Voltage: under 12.3V
Auto by-starter resistor inspection
Resistance Measurement of Resistor at 20℃.
Resistor (8Ω 5W) between Green/Black and
Pink: 7.0Ω ~9.0Ω
