Nuts, Bolts, Fasteners; Wheels/Tires - Honda 2004 CRF250X Service Manual

NUTS, BOLTS, FASTENERS
Check that all chassis nuts and bolts are tightened to
thei r correct torque va lues (page 1-13).
Check that all safety clips, hose clamps and cable
stays are in place and properly secu red.
WHEELS/TIRES
Tire pressure
should be checked
when the tires are
cold
Raise the front wheel off the ground by placing a
work stand or equivalent under the engine.
Hold the front fork leg and move the front wheel
sideways with force to see if the wheel bearings ar e
worn.
Raise the rear wheel off the ground by placing a
workstand or equivalent under the engine.
Hold the swingarm and move the fear wheel side-
ways with force to see if the wheel bearings are
worn.
Check the tires for cuts, embedded nails, or other

damage.
Check the followi ng :
- front wheel (page 1 3-3)

Check the cold tire p ressu re.
TIRE PRESSURE :
FRONT: 98 kPa (1.0 kgf/cm 2, 14 psi)
REAR: 98 kPa (1 .0 kgf/cm2, 14 psi)
