Installing the dust bag, holder,stopper and vises
(Theholder and stopper are optional accessories.)
Attachthe dust bagandviseassemblyas indicated in Fig.1 and Fig.
2.
BEFORE USING
1. Makesure the power source is appropriatefor the tool.

WARNING:
Neverconnect t he powertoolunless the available AC powersource
is of the samevoltageas that specified on the nameplateof the
tool.
Neverconnect thispowertool to a DCpowersource.
2. Makesure the trigger switch is turned OFF.

WARNING:
If the powercordis connected to the powersource with thetrigger
switchturnedON the powertool will startsuddenly andcancause
a seriousaccident.
3. Checkthe saw bladefor visible defects.
Confirm that the saw bladeis free of cracksor othervisible damage.
4. Confirm that the saw blade is attachedsecurelyto the power tool.
Using the supplied 10mm box wrench, tighten the bolt on the saw
blade spindleto securethe saw blade.
For details, see Fig. 33-a, Fig. 33-b, Fig. 33-c and Fig. 33-d in the
sectionon "SAW BLADEMOUNTINGAND DISMOUNTING".
5. Checkthe lower guard for proper operation.
Lower guard is designedto protect the operator from coming into
contactwith the saw blade during operation of the tool.
Always checkthat the lower guard movessmoothly and coversthe
saw blade properly.

WARNING:
NEVEROPERATE THE POWERTOOLif the safety coverdoesnot
function smoothly.
6. Confirm the position of the spindle lockbefore using the tool.
After installingthe sawblade,confirm that the spindle lockhasbeen
returned to the retractposition before using the power tool (seeFig.
33-b).
7. Checkthe Power Receptacle.
To prevent overheating, accidental stopping or intermittent
operation, confirm that the power cord plug fits properly in the
electricalreceptacleand does not fall out after it is inserted. Repair
or replacethe receptacleif it is faulty.
8. Confirm the tool's power cord is not damaged.
Repairor replacethe power cord if an inspection indicatesthat it is
damaged.
AFTER CONNECTING
THE POWER PLUG TO AN
APPROPRIATE AC POWER SOURCE, CHECK THE
OPERATION OF THE TOOL AS FOLLOWS:
9. Trial Run
After confirming that no one isstanding behind,the power tool start
andconfirm that no operatingabnormalitiesexist beforeattempting
a cutting operation.
10. Inspectthe rotating stability of the saw blade.
For precisecutting, rotatethe saw bladeand checkfor deflection to
confirmthatthe bladeis not noticeablyunstable;otherwisevibrations
might occur and causean accident.
BEFORE CUTTING
1.
Oblique angle
Beforethe power tool is shipped from the factory, it is adjustedfor
0°, left 45° bevel cutting angle with the 8mm bolt (A) and the 8mm
bolt (B).
When changingthe adjustment,changethe height of the 8ram bolt
(A) or the 8mm bolt (B) by turning them. (Fig. 8-a, Fig.8-b)

Securingthe workpiece
WARNING:
Alwaysclamporvisetosecure the workpieceto thefence;otherwise
theworkpiece mightbethrustfrom the tableandcause bodilyharm.
3.
Installing the holders ... (Optionalaccessory)
The holdershelp keeplonger workpiecesstableand in placeduring
the cutting operation.
(1) As indicated in Fig.9,use a steelsquarefor aligning the upper edge
of the holderswith the basesurface.
Loosenthe 6ramwing nut.Turn a height adjustment bolt 6ram,and
adjustthe height of the holder.
(2) After adjustment,firmly tighten the wing nut and fasten the holder
with the 6ramwing bolt (optional accessory).If the length of Height
Adjustment Bolt 6mm is insufficient, spread a thin plate beneath.
Makesurethe endof HeightAdjustment Bolt 6ramdoesnot protrude
from the holder.
