    DMC Repair Manual Camera Overview Overview This section of the Repair Manual gives an overview of the Digital Microscope Camera (DMC). It only provides the necessary information pertaining to features and specifications for the camera. Note: For detailed information pertaining to setting up the camera, installing and starting its software, assigning SCSI ID's and checking SCSI connections, and using application software, refer to the DMC User Guide.

Always use an anti-static mat and an ESD wrist- Warning strap when disassembling, assembling or repairing the camera with the bottom extrusion removed.

    Parts Replacement Disassembly/Assembly of Camera This section of the Repair Manual describes the Digital Microscope Camera's disassembly and assembly procedures. Before performing any of the procedures described in this section, make sure that the camera has been turned off and that its power pack has been unplugged.

Note: Make sure that the pins are properly inserted into the two (2) holes located on the spanner nut being careful not to scratch or damage the anti-alias optical filter.

    DMC Repair Manual Testing & Adjustment analysis VI's, Sub VI components which call other VI's, and network and file I/O functions that store or retrieve data in ASCII, binary, or spreadsheet formats. Icon/Connector The icon/connector is the calling interface. The icon is the graphical ID of the VI, and the connector assigns controls and indicators to VI input and output terminals.

Since the CCD contains the EEPROM, the serial number would be lost when the CCD is changed (either no serial number will be present, or a previously assigned number which was used by a different camera may be in the new CCD EEPROM.
