Wi-Fi Direct
Use Wi-Fi Direct to connect directly to other Wi-Fi Direct devices simply via Wi-Fi, without an
access point or via the Internet.
1. From home, touch Apps
2. Touch Wi-Fi.
The Wi-Fi settings menu appears.
3. Touch the Wi-Fi slider to turn Wi-Fi on
Wi-Fi is enabled. You will see the names and security settings of in-range Wi-Fi networks.
4. Touch Menu > Advanced > Wi-Fi Direct.
The Wi-Fi Direct settings menu appears.
Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi are unavailable at the same time.

5. Touch a device with which to connect.
If connected via Wi-Fi, you will see a confirmation. Follow the onscreen instructions.

6. Accept the connection on the other device.
The phone is connected via Wi-Fi Direct.
If a connection is not accepted after a certain period, the connection request is cancelled.

To stop a connection, touch the connected device name, touch OK to confirm disconnection.

BLUETOOTH
Bluetooth is a short-range communications technology that allows you to connect wirelessly to a
number of Bluetooth devices, such as headsets and hands-free car kits, and Bluetooth-enabled
handhelds, computers, printers, and wireless phones. The Bluetooth communication range is
usually approximately 30 feet.
Bluetooth Hints
Question: Why can't I use Bluetooth?
Answer: Is your phone in airplane mode? Bluetooth is unavailable in airplane mode.
