Triple Play

This section demonstrates how to set up a network environment for triple-play

application. The following figure depicts a network example where three PVCs are

used for multiple services (Data, Voice and Video) on the IES-5106 on which a GLC

line card is installed. In addition, IEEE VLAN and 802.1p are set up to guarantee

smooth Voice and Video streaming through the network.

1. IES-5106 settings

1.1. Log into the web configurator on the IES-5106. The default in-band

management IP address of the IES-5106 is 192.168.1.1. On the login screen,

enter the default user name ('admin') and password ('1234').
