Setting Up the Soundbar Connecting the soundbar The Lifestyle SoundTouch entertainment system uses the reflective surfaces of ® ™ your room to deliver wide, spacious sound. For best sound quality, the soundbar should not be placed inside a cabinet, or diagonally in a corner. To avoid wireless interference, keep other wireless equipment away from the sys- tem. - Page 10 Setting Up the Soundbar Insert the small end of the power cord into the Power connector. Setting Up the Control Console Connecting the control console What you need: Power supply HIGH-SPEED Power cord Control console HDMI cable ™ Place the control console on a flat, stable surface near your TV. Control console Note: Until your system is completely installed, keep the control console positioned for easy access to the rear connector panel. - Page 14 Setting Up the Control Console Insert one end of the HIGH-SPEED HDMI cable into an HDMI IN connector ™ on your TV. If an HDMI cable is already connected to an HDMI connector on your TV, you can disconnect the other end and use this cable. Note: If you plan on viewing 3D content, use the supplied HIGH-SPEED HDMI cable.
