Getting to Know Your

: Press the arrow buttons to go
SEEK
SCAN
to the next or previous radio station.
When a CD is playing, press the arrow
buttons to move to the next or previous
track.
: Press and hold either arrow
SEEK
SCAN
button for two seconds to scan radio
stations or CD tracks. A beep will sound.
Press either arrow button again to stop
scanning.
To scan preset stations or first track of
all loaded CDs, press and hold either
arrow button for four seconds. A double
beep will sound. Press either arrow but-
ton again to stop scanning.
Setting Preset Stations: You can set
up to 18 stations (six FM1, six FM2 and
six AM).
1. Turn on the radio.
2. Press AM FM to select FM1, FM2
or AM.
3. Tune in the desired station.
4. Press AUTO EQ to select the
equalization.
5. Press and hold one of the six
numbered pushbuttons until you
hear a beep.
6. Repeat the steps for each
pushbutton.
Setting the Tone: Press the Audio knob
until BASS, MID or TREB appears on
the display. Turn the knob to increase or
decrease tone.
To adjust all tone and speaker controls
to the middle position, push and hold the
Audio knob when tone or speaker con-
trol is not displayed. CENTERED will
appear on the display and a beep will
sound.
Loading CDs:
• Turn the ignition on; then press and
hold the LOAD side of the LOAD CD
button for two seconds. The unit
beeps and the light to the right of the
slot begins to flash.
• When the light stops flashing and
turns green, insert a disc partway.
• The indicator light begins blinking and
turns steadily green. Load another
CD.
• When loading more than one but
fewer than six CDs, press the LOAD
side of the LOAD CD button again to
signal that loading is complete.
Note: With the single-disc CD player,
insert a CD partially into the slot. The
player will pull it in and begin playing
the CD.
• When more than one disc is loaded,
a number for each disc is displayed.
