BEFORE CLEANING
Remove documents from the stacker.
Pull up the lever on the right front of
the upper transport and raise it.
Cleaning the Pad -

Pull the ADF release lever towards you
and lift up the ADF upper sheet guide.
Guide Plate
Cleaning the Pick Roller -
1
While pulling the ADF lever towards you,
lift up the ADF upper sheet guide.

Note: Please ensure Cleaner F2 is NOT
used on Rubber Rollers.
Recommended Cleaning Cycle Every 300,000 Sheets

Press down on the upper part of the
guide plate with your fingers at the
two positions shown, rotate the plate
towards you and remove it.

Slide the Pick Roller unit to the left to
disengage the clutch ring from the shaft.

Wipe the translucent rubber part of
the pad ASSY using cleaning paper
moistened with cleaner F1.
