• Remove the two bushings and the retaining hook from the roller shaft.

• Take the new Pick Roller and place the retaining hook on the end of
the shaft away from the gear.
• Place one of the bushings on the roller shaft, on the same side as
the retaining spring. Make sure the large diameter of the bushing is
facing the inside of the shaft.

• Place the other bushing into
the hole at the rear of the
ADF. Note that the bushing
and the hole are keyed.

• Place the end of the roller
shaft with the bushing and
retaining hook into the
mounting hole at the front of
the scanner.
• Now slide the roller shaft
into the mounting hole and
bushing in the back of the
scanner.

Scanner
• Make sure the bushings
are in the mounting holes
properly and move the
retaining hook into the
groove in the roller shaft.
• Reinstall the Guide A
Assembly and tighten the
two thumb screws.
