    Compatibility & setup Question 1: Is the adapter compatible with my device? Your device is compatible with the adapter if:  The correct tip is available. See Question 7 for information on how to determine which tip to use.  Your device’s voltage is between 3—12V.

    Question 6: How do I know what the polarity of my device is? Caution: Never attempt to power a device if you do not know its polarity.
