restore it to "0.0".
Auto-Off
1. This scale features an auto-off func-
tion. If no activity takes place on the
scale for 30 seconds, the scale will turn
off automatically.
2. To manually shut off the scale, press
the "ON/OFF" button.
Calibration Instructions
This scale has been calibrated at the
factory. However shock caused by ex-
treme changes in temperature, humid-
ity, and elevation can cause the scale
to lose calibration. To check the scales
accuracy, place a standard 350g cali-
bration weight on the scale. The scale
has an accuracy of +/- 0.1g, therefore
the display should read 350g (or at
least 349.9 or 350.1). If it does not,
recalibrate the scale as follows:
1. With the scale off, fi rst press and
hold the "MODE" key. With the "MODE"
key still depressed, tap the "ON/OFF"
button. The display will show a model
number then "E-350".
2. Place a 300g calibration weight (not
included) on the center of the platform
3. The display will show "300.0g" then
automatically turn off.
4. Calibration is complete! You may now
remove the calibration weight.
Note: If the standard calibration weight
is not used, the calibration may not fi nish
automatically or the recalibration may not
be accurate.
Ask your scale supplier for calibration
weight availability.
