Before using the scale for the first time, check the battery compartment and remove any plastic insulation strips or packaging that may be in place to prevent battery drainage during shipping/storage.
  • Page 4 Manual IV. Locking & Unlocking the Scale The scale’s touch sensitive keys can be locked and unlocked using the three-way lock switch on the left side of the scale. The third setting labeled “CAL” is explained in section VIII.
