WARNING:
gas while charging. Charge battery in a well
ventilated area and keep away from an open
flame or pilot light as on a water heater, space
heater, furnace, clothes dryer or other gas
appliances.
Fuse
A fuse is installed in your tractor's wiring harness to
protect the tractor's electrical system from damage
caused by excessive amperage.
SECTION 9: OFF-SEASON STORAGE
Clean and lubricate the tractor as instructed on page 17
before storing for an extended period.
WARNING:
Drain fuel only into an approved
container outdoors, away from an open flame.
Allow engine to cool. Extinguish cigarettes,
cigars, pipes, and other sources of ignition prior
to draining fuel.
WARNING:
Never store the machine or fuel
container indoors where there is an open
flame, spark or pilot light such as on water
heater, furnace, clothes dryer or other gas
appliance.
Batteries give off an explosive
If the electrical system does not function, or your
tractor's engine will not crank, first check to be
certain that the fuse has not blown.
It can be found under the hood mounted behind the
top of the dash panel on the support bar. Pull the
fuse out and inspect it to determine if it is good or
blown.
Always use a fuse with the same
IMPORTANT:
amperage capacity for replacement.
Follow the instructions in the Service, Storage &
Specifications section of the Briggs & Stratton
Operator/Owner Manual (or Kohler engines Owner's
Manual) for proper engine care prior to storing your
tractor.
