3.1.4. Panel PC Module Assembly

The panel PC's individual modules are now ready to be
integrated to a complete panel PC module. Refer to Fig. 3-8.
1. Install the two speakers (B) to the chassis (C) with two
TMS MS*5 screws for each.
2. Attach the metal support bracket (G) to the chassis with
one TMS M3*4 screw with washer.
3. Integrate the CD-ROM module (D) to the chassis with two
TMS M3*4 screws.
bezel, for easy access, the CD-ROM is integrated with the
media reader module instead.
4. Retain the chassis to the front bezel module (A) with five
PMS M3*6 screws.
5. Connect the other ends of the two 2-pin speaker wires to
CN4
on the motherboard. The wire for the left speaker is
plugged to pin# 13, 15 and the wire for the right speaker
to pin# 14, 16 on CN4.
6. Connect the other end of the 40-pin IDE ribbon cable to
the CD-ROM board. Plug the other end of the CD-Audio
wire to the 4-pin black pin connector on the CD-ROM
board.
7. Plug I/O module (F) to the
motherboard. Retain the I/O module to chassis with five
FMS M3*5 screws. If no CD-ROM is accommodated with
the system, only four screws are needed to retain the I/O
module to the chassis.
