12. Disconnect the jumper cable assembly from the unit.
13. When convenient, using either AC or DC charging adapter, completely charge the
iOnBoost battery.
14. Store the unit and charge adapters in a cool, dry environment, away from flammable
materials. Remember to fully charge the unit every three months.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Jumpstart Warning Lights
The iOnBoost is ready to jumpstart when the cables are connected and a steady green light
illuminates on the cable safety block. The following chart displays the combinations of warning
lights that occur when the iOnBoost fails to display the ready light:
Warning lights

and green
lights
Solid red and
green lights
Flashing red
light with
beeping sound
No lights

DC POWER PORT

For proper and safe operation of the DC power accessory outlet, do not place anything into it
except the plug of the accessory to be used.
Overloading the port may result in "tripping" a self-resetting circuit breaker. Removing the
overload automatically restores power to the DC Power Port.
1. Insert the DC connection cable into the DC output port.
2. Select the appropriate connection head and attach to the other end of the cable.
3. Set master switch to the "I" position.
4. Using the MODE button, press (not hold) to select the voltage your device requires. Do not
connect to device until proper output voltage is set.
5. Connect DC cable to the device you wish to charge.
6. After use, turn off the master switch ("O" position).
7. Recharge the iOnBoost as soon as convenient.

Type of warning Solution
No vehicle battery Cables are not properly connected or iOnBoost charge
detected is too low for jumpstarting. Check cable connection.
Check terminals for corrosion.
Check battery status indicator light on iOnboost,
recharge iOnBoost if needed.
30-second timer Disconnect iOnBoost and follow connection procedure
has expired. again.
Short-circuit or Disconnect immediately and follow connection
reverse polarity procedure again.
Overload or Allow unit to cool for 10 minutes. Plug into AC charger
overheat to reset iOnBoost.
